Race - Now I don't play the race card very easy! My mother is as white as they come and my father is as black as they come also my wife is as Asian as they come! So let's just say I've seen and heard it from all different perspectives!
So today I took my 7 year old daughter into the (Wimbledon) seanhanna this was her first haircut and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement! This is the first time in a long while I've felt race played a part! The attitude of everyone in the place was so fake from the receptionist to the stylist (Steph) I just couldn't for the life of me understand why everybody was so miserable? I would have took all the employees attitude on the chin Just as long as they didn't direct it at my daughter! But they did! I've tried to look at it from all angles but I just keep coming up with race! My daughters hair is as straight as anything so the hair wasn't the issue! The stylist (Steph) didn't even ask my 7 year old her name! She did not say one word to her! She just cut her hair in silence and at the end said I'll wait at reception for you! It was a very uncomfortable experience and I'm absolutely disgusted with everyone in the Wimbledon seanhanna! Shame on you guys
This is the first time I've ever done an online review but I feel that strongly about my experience today, I fully accept we don't live in a perfect world and race will always play a part but today was about my 7 year old daughter I will never step foot inside this place again
